About Me

I live in Denver, CO and have always been intrigued with genealogy and family history, particularly with the mysteries and stories that get lost through the years. Through historical fiction we can sometimes give people of the past a chance to be heard again.

Please feel free to contact me to share your ideas and interests. Do you have a story idea?

Do you have a book club? I would be happy to provide any of my novels as a featured book club read at no cost to you.

To Return Home - Front Cover 2.jpg

To Return Home is a story of the now and hereafter and the idea that there is no greater evil than the torment from within.

However, in the midst of agony there is always the hope that we can find a path to renewal and revival or that it somehow finds us.

Mary Lynn Melton, now in her mid-40s, has resigned herself to a lonely fate, believing that her manipulative, deceitful, and destructive past has irreparably damaged her relationships and her life.

In an effort to change, she contacts Generative Genesis, a technology company whose main product is the Orbis, a spherical environment that creates simulations of real life through interactive scripted narratives. Through the Orbis, Mary Lynn experiences a hypothetical world set in her hometown in the 1950s populated with people that she has known throughout her life. Her goal is to learn and practice prosocial behaviors that will help her create a more fulfilling and benevolent way to live.

Will Mary Lynn discover the life she was meant to live, or is she destined to repeat her past mistakes? Mary Lynn's Window is a story of self-exploration and acceptance and pondering whether we can change our future if we can't change how we have lived life in our past.
